What is the value of YouthSafe Outdoors resources and training?

The return on investment of a YouthSafe Outdoors project is exceptional.  Each project provides an exceptional economy of effort value from work undertaken in jurisdictions that have had the work done (e.g., the education systems of Alberta, Manitoba and British Columbia, and recreation/sport/youth development system in Alberta). 

In addition, the total budget for a province/territory-wide YouthSafe Outdoors project is generally far less than the cost of one preventable major search and rescue operation, one fatality, one serious long-term disability, one public inquiry or one significant negligence action involving a child, volunteer or staff person.
